Screaming and swearing stranger

Today when I was at the bus stop, an unfamiliar stranger that appeared (to me) homeless, had the nerve to bark "I beat yo ass, b***h ass fa***t" and pointed at me.

He was panhandling on the center divider. He did not approach me. He made a "George Floyd kneeling gesture"

Been on testosterone to transition to male ages 24 to 26, and 36 til now. 41 years old.

It is not my fault that some blacks got murdered by racist cops. Besides I am not even a cop or white. I am Chinese. Furthermore, some lgbt people also got murdered by homophobic.

There is nothing I could have done to prevent police brutality. I don't have the authority or physical strength or other resources such as $$$.

I wouldn't take personally what a possibly mentally ill person on the street shouted at you. He probably shouts that way at everyone, or at random people anyway.

yes...dont worry about it...he forgot you so forget him...i know it hurt but he was probably crazy and intoxicated

Welcome to the world of retail.

And welcome to dealing with...The Public!

Its hard enough to avoid miscommunications and misunderstandings between yourself and customers when the customers are more-or-less "normal" folks. You also have to deal with the unfiltered mass of people off of the streets who include all kinds of nutjobs.

Dont take things personally.

Please don't worry SFBUM. He sounds mentally ill to me.

A few years ago I got shouted at by a wide-eyed, babbling stranger for 'being Palestinian'. I'm a pasty white person from England.

There is a person in my town that randomly targets strangers, following them and screaming at them. I rapidly change direction whenever I see him coming.

Are people supposed to use that as a weapon to attack a mentally ill person that is screaming at them?
