But that is what mods are there for, to go to when you need help, if they don't like it, then tough! and stop actinglike were "complaing" or "harrassing" you are mods on a forum, you aren't even paid, you can resign at any time, thats your job to help with the problems on the forum, stop trying to turn a simple little question into me "attacking" you when in actual fact you are actacking ME.

I'm not attacking you. I'm stating why SOME mods
do not want to be revealed. There is nothing that
they would wish to receive, which can't be handled
otherwise.

Ah, and you are mistaken. It all became too much
for me. I am no longer a mod at all. Others, who
have been out of the spotlight, have been able to
stay on. I would rather see the site maintain a
continuity, than have to undergo turmoil in the
mods.

Well, maybe you should make this more clear. and if only for spam attacks why so many, and why are they so secret about who they are?

that quote is from wikipedia and that is always how it is on other forums. I don't see why so many miods just for spam attacks. You are never available to talk to, never repond to PMs. how are we going to contact you if we have an issue? such as porn links in the comments on the articles on the front page? or if someone has a vulgar picture in there avatar? just wondering.

That's pure BS. Why are you saying such a thing? When we had a spam attack yesterday, I responded to every single email I got from users informing me of the attack. If you want a response from the site, click the "contact us" button and submit your question. I will respond to PMs as well. I don't ignore emails. Sorry if I don't respond within 5 minutes of you sending the message.... I can't stand when people try to attack me by saying things that are complete lies.

You have the list you must worry about.
Why? I was trying to explain to you why
randomly selected, unpaid mods might
not want to receive complaints that they
can do nothing about.

I thought you were asking for an answer,
not to be annoying.

That is not a lie! You have never ever EVER responded to a PM I have sent! EVER! and I have said this many, many times! I'm not even talking about five minutes. There was thatone time that guy had that really sick picture in his avatar and i Pmed you and you never responded, so I PMed you, and you Never responded to That either. I basically learned early on not to pm you because you never did Pm me back, i'm not attacking you!

Speaking of this issue, it's come to my
attention that Krex has been doing more
than merely killing spam, so I would add
her to the list of active mods.

I'm not naming anyone who isn't
actively doing anything beyond
mere spam busting. The position
is one which was thrust upon people,
and I think privacy is reasonable.
