I figured something out recently - something that’s been bothering me for a while, but I don’t think I’ll ever feel comfortable sharing it with a therapist in person because I struggle with sharing things that are much less personal. It is a conundrum for me.
Me in therapy: “The weather is really something today, isn’t it?”
Well, I’m okay with talking about certain real issues, like religious trauma and some family stuff, but it’s hard to go beyond that.
