Same here, I'm in the process of clearing off my hard drive so that I can install something else on it. I haven't quite decided what, but for my Windows needs, I'm probably just going to run it in a VM. I think Qemu is pretty good, but even VirtualBox is often good enough.

hello I have gone back and forth from GOS and stock since pixel 6 pro now on 8a. I like customization and limiting what apps can access but also am restricted by software not working on non stock os. local government ones and also my AAC app would glitch out a lot on GOS but not stock. :( if I had an ipad for AAC and those apps it would be okay i guess but then it is like trading apple for google so eh. I would like linux as well as alternative but doesn't seem like much or is too expensive.

Kernel out of nowhere crashed today. Pretty pathetic for "hardened" Android at "Stable" branch.
I'm wondering how it's going on a 7a I've recently (2 weeks ago, I think...) configured for a relative. So far no complaints, but yeah, time will show...

Have you tried turning off some exploit protections for these / turning "Compatibility mode" on?

hmm I think I did yeah, enabled what I could for it but still didn't work for me. I am back on stock so eh. might opt for iphone if I am just going to use stock anyway since ios i think I'd prefer vs stock. grapheneOS if it didn't have issues would be best i guess.
