What do you hate about your boss and coworkers?

Not so much my boss's but some of my co-workers are a nightmare. One is this very shrill woman who thinks she's the boss, she has taken a disliking to me for quite some time. I want nothing to do with her and avoid her at all costs.

One is a total psycho, who will start BS and then go to HR and tell on people. He's threatened people and yet management won't fire him, there are reasons I suspect why but still. Another one, is angry all the time and is rude as hell, I knew I did not like him from the word GO.

Some other's are super cliquey and if your not in their circle they treat you like your lower than them, seriously **** that little kid high school BS.

Honestly, I am considering changing departments over some of this.

Without wishing to go too dark on this, my first boss when I was 16 sexually abused me and I'm pretty sure he only offered me the job to get me in a place where he could do that so I've always had a lot of difficulty with bosses and trust.

I find it hard to believe that they genuinely value the work I can do. I tend to assume there's some ulterior motive. It makes it hard to take any personal pride in my work.

I don't hate my current boss at all, but I don't believe he likes me much and I think when my contract is up he'll let me go.

Ouch....

I've come to find my work is respected but I'm not particularly liked, not hated but just not liked by many. I do my job well but socially I'm off on my own and I can't nor do I see any point of getting too chummy with people. One thing I've learned is if you do too much, you get more work thrown at you and then they start expecting too much. Learned this the hard way, so now I balance between doing my job well but not doing too much extra.
