How to decide what classic Nintendo BGM to remix?

I have mentioned on WP before about an upcoming Nintendo fan remix album project called "Nintendo Nostalgia" which is a project I have been working on for a while but it's still in the Conception Phase!! !

Part of that is because I am waiting on confirmation from Nintendo of America so they can grant me permission to move forward with the project

The other reason is I CANNOT even begin to think about how to actually decide what games & music from Nintendo's rich history to remix!

How do I make the choice?!?

It's just like trying to find the perfect wedding dress but perhaps less nervewracking and stressful

Please help me!! !

EDIT: I have decided to stick with the NES, SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance as my consoles of choice

Possibly N64 if there are any games that can benefit from the "remix treatment" otherwise I am sticking with 16-bit!

I think the easiest way to decide is by thinking back to all of the classic games I have played over the years and then figuring out from there what BGM has stood out to me ! !!
