I hope not to commit any accidental faux pas
This is an autism forum, so it's pretty much our innate specialty. As far as I'm concerned, please feel free to be yourself and not worry much about fauxes and pases.

It doesn't matter how you refer to me, i chose 'Non-binary' for my profile because i don't particularly care. No need to keep gender-neutral with me either.
I think the same way.

i struggle greatly with sensory issues and self regulation. Despite never having problems in school when it came to grades, i was forced to quit because of frequent meltdowns and psych ward stays. I am currently a NEET, which frustrates me to no end because i would love to pursue further education. I am hoping to achieve that with therapy and social worker's support. I am hoping to meet people with similar struggles to mine, i think it would make me feel less alone.
I'm in a similar situation, though 20 years ahead in age. I'm trying to re-calibrate and engage in a new something to get going, but first I need to find out how to manage all this AuDHD and letting go of baggage since intrahead space is limited on my flight.

I enjoy anything that has to do with nature (i like identifying plants and insects) and biotech, dental tech, arts and crafts (i like to draw, paint, crochet, stitch, write poems, etc.) and playing video games (i love 'The Binding of Isaac').
I used to be into identifying plants during COVID. I even tried unsuccessfully to become a amateur farmer in my backyard. In case you haven't heard of it, I found the
Picture This app super helpful at the time.
Binding of Isaac looks very similar to the first Zelda for NES. I want to get it. Do you recommend the Wrath of the Lamb DLC? I would prefer to avoid it if it gives me too much of an unfair advantage that makes the game boring.

Particular interests that i would like to get into more are webdev and local medieval history.
Me too! I've been testing the waters with those topics. I don't know why, but medieval history seems appealing to me. I guess I'll find out why once I learn about it. Webdev is appealing because it seems like such a helpful skill that you can use from home to help others. You can use it to give the voiceless a voice and help build communities that would otherwise be a set of isolated individuals.

Hopefully that wasn't too much for a first post. If you have any questions or comments, i would love to read them! Hopefully i won't be just a lurker here from now on.
The way I'm thinking about that feeling/belief is that it's not too much. It's extra. Extra is great for people that want more than the standard. If someone doesn't want more, then can just leave it. Bonus: an alien is also called an extraterrestrial (aka "extra" for short).

The human brain is much more complex then most people realize. That is because most people have multiple brains that work together. In a sense we have multiple people living inside us.
This is literally how I feel. There's a second person in my body working in the background. They can't communicate to me explicitly via thoughts, but they manage to get my attention through other means. I'm learning how to hear them.
