I'm worried it will never stop, because I'm obsessing over feeling like I'm "running out of time" because I've been single for a long time, worrying about dying early of a dreadful age related illness when I'm only in my 30s, haven't seen my dad, stepmum or nan since Easter due to have lots of days working and worrying that I'm neglecting my family when I love my family. I'm sick of feeling like as if the world is ending. It's ridiculous. My mum and her partner at home have spoken to me about their frustrations and the negativity my thoughts and worries bring. I don't know what to do. I'm seeing a counsellor anyway and I don't want to take any medication.

Yes, I think you need a counsellor or therapist Chris.

I've found these pretty good: https://www.betterhelp.com/

Maybe you need some sort of hobby activity to keep you busy?
