I am tired of all this generational blaming. I wish generation terms never existed. Honestly, this hate impacts my mental health.

Unfortunately this is how politics works now, pitting groups of people against each other. They want you to be tired.

Now you mention it. I do feel kind of relieved that is all greedy higher-ups fault instead of us "zoomers" working to hard to scrape by. Image

Capitalism making money off of fear mongering as usual. Such a shame the millennials got brainwashed, too. On a side note I prefer to call myself a zillennial but apparently not many people think we exist so alternatively I refer to myself as a Gen-Z.

A lot of companies fail because they are purchased by venture capitalists and take on a lot of debt to expand operations. Then something happens and they can't pay their loan obligations. It is a lot easier for companies to survive normal ups and downs if they don't have large debts to pay. I'm sure that someone is getting rich even though the company fails.

I think you are correct. I've seen bigger businesses here in America losing profits (such as consumers protesting/not buying the product) but are still striving by. Although, I think private companies tend to have the least chances. The latter is from what I've seen happen to regional restaurant chains such as Sharis and Skippers. I am no expert on economics so this is just me speculating.

Edit: Skippers financed for bankruptcy in the mid 2000's but there are still a few running locations. They also serve in a few gas stations.

Sharis on the other hand looks like it's on hanging onto a string. They closed 2 locations in my area years ago. There was even one near my neighborhood! Currently standing there unchanged. Maybe it will strive just like Skippers but I have a bad feeling the CEO might end up doing the liquidation route. I think I should've used Toys R Us as a better and national example but whatever.

Ugh, I stumbled upon a r/AskWomenOver30 thread that's a rant on current fashion trends.

While I agree with the opinions. Some users were sh*****g on my generation and pointing fingers at us. Even though it's the greedy corporations that are mass producing these clothing and influencers (probably even in their 30's , GASP) brainwashing people to consume these crappy products.

I argued with a few people on the thread. I bet they are going to down vote me... EDIT: I've decided to delete my comments.

I'm 5ft 2in 106lbs with an hourglass figure. I find it easy to find women's clothes that fit right off the rack with no alterations.
I used to buy guy clothes and alter them, but why do that if I can buy a crop top and size 3 junior jeans that fit perfectly? It is way too hard to shorten long sleeved shirts. They don't make men's clothes for people my size.

I don't even know what genx y and z are. I only know about baby boomers because I kept hearing the term so often. I see some people hate people of my age because we retired at a reasonable age and got pensions that are almost good, and we had more benefits like free orange juice and cod liver oil. Well, let them hate. I feel sorry for them but I don't feel guilty. Of course they deserve the same perks as I got, but there's no socialist party I can even vote for that stands a cat in hell's chance of getting into power.

Anyway I think other people here have got it right, the whole inter-generational warfare thing is a case of divide-and-rule by the ruling class, who will point to anybody as the reason why ordinary people haven't got enough money, while they themselves are quietly raking it in. It's always the illegal immigrants or the unemployed scroungers or the disabled malingerers, and now it's some other generation that's doing all the damage to the economy. Couldn't possibly be the multi-billionaires of course, they're wealth-creating heroes. End of rant.
