I’m a solo developer working on a simple, AAC-style app that lets kids build sentences by dragging customizable picture tiles.
Assume you already use an AAC app; I’d love to know where this app shines and where it stumbles. I genuinely want this to be something you actually reach for every day, not just another app that ends up unused.

Just a few example questions I’d love your feedback on:
- How many tiles on screen at once feel “just right” before it’s overwhelming (or too slow to use)?
- Do you use a “favorites” or “recently used” areas or are they useless?
- Which categories matter most for you? Daily routines, feelings, school, mealtime—what’s missing in your toolkit?
- Any thoughts on the layout? Do you prefer fewer big icons at once? Certain colors? What feels easiest: icons or more realistic?
