What I've noticed with my glasses is that I have to have them pushed right to the top of my nose or else I feel like they're gonna slide off and I don't like that feeling at all

Yeah that's what she says. It feels like they're falling off. She says that about her shoes too which is why she does them up too tight. It's a sensory feedback thing.

With glasses she now basically refuses to wear them most of the time. Which makes me a bit sad because she's going through the world unable to see much. And it causes arguments because she wants to sit about a foot away from the TV screen. And as we all know, you get square eyes if you do that.

sports glasses and goggles are extra tough and some use elastic straps to hold the lenses in place. talk to her eye dr about what alternatives are available for her. I would have loved goggles with elastic, I was forever losing my glasses, they were falling off and getting broken etc... always hurt behind my ears... have had glasses since 8 years old (now 73 and they are still a constant struggle). My heart goes out to her, I understand.

You probably already discussed this with her eye doc but just in case you haven't, perhaps an alternative to glasses would work better for her like contacts or lasik :?

Ooh, good catch - ordered!
Mine slide a little and stop, making them sit too low so I'm not looking through the center of the lens.
