Thanks for clarifying. I was worried you were saying the stances Robertson had taken that I was reminding people of were mild or liberal by CoC standards. I hope slavery and Jim Crow were just swell and you gotta marry yourself a child aren't mainstream views within the CoC.

You are welcome....I was talking more about issues like having kitchens and eating in the church building, having praise teams, instrumental music, supporting Christian colleges and parachurch organizations like children's homes out of the church treasury, having their own line of wine and a vineyard and the fact that their church celebrates Christmas. and removing the church of Christ name from the building.

If we can call that simplicity, it seems like he's much less simple than typical for CoC.
