I’ve been putting this off a little because I’m not exactly sure how to start something like this the “right” way. But since I’ve always felt super comfortable here – and a few friends gave me the courage – here comes my… let’s call it mini-coming-out:

I’m a trans woman (MTF). Which means: I identify as a woman, and I’m now taking that step publicly too.

Nothing really changes for you… except maybe I’ll change my name here to Juli? Maybe?!

I’m a bit nervous about how people will react, so please be kind – and if you’ve got questions, feel free to ask respectfully. If something feels too personal, I’ll just let you know.

I have a petite hourglass figure and am fortunate to have "passing privilege." Most likely I'm Intersex but haven't been genetically tested.
Pretty much the only way folks know is that I still use my given name instead of a female one.
I am quite confident that my voice, walk, and mannerisms are spot on.
I shop for groceries in kitten heels.

What I find really interesting is that I haven't reached the age of invisibility.
Older women find that nobody sees them.
Guys will park next to me to get a good look at me. Cars always stop to let me cross in front of them.
Dressed as a small guy I was totally invisible.
