I don't really keep a high standard of tidiness but I can't stand seeing knives and forks on the draining board

Something about it really peeves me

Oh yeah and it's always down to Billy Muggins to clean the George Foreman lean, green, fat reducing grilling machine as well

This peeves me

Hypocrisy and double standards.

When people say "welp". I hate that word.

When my clothes start getting holes in, which can be tricky to buy new clothes when you're quite short of money. I don't like wearing secondhand clothes so that is why I avoid buying clothes from charity shops.

I once tried buying second hand clothes from a charity shop and I remember a few t-shirts were like old rags.

Never again.

When people exaggerate about politics and then it puts false ideas into people's heads that make them go and vote for Reform.

"The immigrants are all given council houses plus free money", this probably untrue statement then makes everyone go "I'm definitely voting for Reform next election!"

I'm so glad I'm now more educated on political matters and to not support a party without looking at the bigger picture first. I'm voting labour again next election.

I am glad that you have decided not to vote Reform. Usually people vote far right parties out of ignorance, but you seem to be able to understand more intelligent ideas and I am happy that you are intending to vote for The Labour Party.

Voting in one's own economic interest is the right thing to do.

Reform's manifesto includes pledges to cut government spending, leaving people unsupported after a few months of being on job seekers allowance if they refuse unsuitable jobs and they will inevitably further attack and denigrate the welfare state on a broad scale.

The NHS is proposed to possibly be replaced by a French style insurance based system for healthcare costs, which would be a nightmare for a lot of people.

Reform also pledge to cut corporation taxes, they are the party of the wealthy, essentially, led by a millionaire, Nigel Farage who doesn't have any sympathy for poor or disabled people, let alone immigrants.

“Yeah, so?” whether it’s uttered by an abuser regarding their own incidents of abuse or if it’s the attitude of folks toward the plight of people on the news they don’t give a f**k about. I guess each scenario won’t typically have the same root cause, though. One also involves an admission of guilt. Still, it’s challenging to hear sometimes.

Yeah I mean the immigration isn't really affecting my life, not saying I agree or disagree with it but I do know that there are more important matters to worry about, such as the NHS and affordable housing, stuff like that. So I'd rather vote a party that takes these things into account than to vote a party just for one thing. I've learnt from Brexit to be less naive and more realistic. Nigel Farage will not get my vote and I'm trying to explain this to others. It isn't my job to change their minds by mindless name-calling, but I'm just trying to educate them a little that there is more to UK politics than immigrants and that it's naive to go voting for a party just because they have a few policies against immigration. I'm so glad I've learnt and know better now than I did 10 years ago. I feel wiser and more open-minded.

^ I am glad that your political opinions are a work in progress and they sound like they have improved over the years.

The housing crisis and in particular the social housing crisis is caused by the UK not having invested in building houses for many decades in a row, failing to meet the building of houses in line with need, year on year, every year. That is why there is a shortage of housing more than anything else, including the arrival of immigrants.

The UK needs to take notice of our western European neighbours including France who have done a way better job of building enough houses for everyone to live in, instead of making the housing market ultra competitive, due to limited space and which has driven housing prices up in general.

Anyway, back on topic, hmm, a pet peeve of mine is when my socks get wet if I accidentally walk through a deep puddle and the water seeps through into my shoes.

Yeah, best we not drift into politics. There's a whole separate section for that lol.

Pet peeve: Working Sundays. I wish I didn't have to work Sundays.
