Just arranged an "in person" job interview for Tuesday

Receptionist accounting clerk

$18hour (currently earning $21 some)
9am to 5pm M-F, full time (currently part time)

From the Bart station (no litterbox access)
Take bus scheduled every 40 minutes. Bus ride 30 minutes. Work is 0.7 miles away from the bus stop.
Only 7 miles from my Pigpen. Current job 17 miles away from my Pigpen. But to get to the current job, have to wait up to 20 minutes for the Bart and Bart ride 30 minutes long. The commute takes longer in the new job, even though it is closer.

Getting back into accounting could be a good thing

Get away from the Home Depot

Almost getting hit by cars
Getting called "chino"
Customers having the nerve to touch me
Litterbox out of order
Rain
Angela d and Angela w
No sweatpants
No going behind the building
No litterbox
Walkie talkie
Sweep the whole parking lot in 30 minutes
Threatened with second write up
50 pound lifting limit
(Rolls eyes) (Puke)

Hope they don't just "ghost" me. Like other jobs

Does this look like a scam to you?

Applied to the following job.

Scheduled a job interview for tomorrow.

Kind of afraid that it is a scam.

The second line of the job description says "distribution and manufacturing". it doesn't say the name of the company. tried to Google some parts of the job description. nothing came up. Googled the address: (1) Cheesesteak shop (2) residential address.

Haven't gone there before, but have gone within one mile (there's a safeway and home depot over there).

E-mailed my sister about it. (She used to be a medical doctor). She wrote, "It does look suspicious since it doesn’t list a company name or even what kind of business it is. Let me know if they contact you."

Do not have any plans for tomorrow. No work either. But have not decided whether or not to go to the "job interview". Maybe if i go, someone will have the nerve to take all my chump change.

Today, went to the job interview.

There was a sign on the door that said "please do not knock on the door. please dial the phone number (number)

Did. Someone that said his name was ( ) answered the door and told me to sit on the couch and fill out a form. Did.

The form asked: name, address, phone number, education, work history.

Nobody asked for financial credentials. Nobody asked unusual or emotional questions.

The interviewer, ( ), was uneventful. He asked: what I like about accounting, tell me about a time you made a mistake at work, what did you do at (currency), what did you do at the library, what did you do for the (company)? He did not ask any "quiz" questions about accounting.

They had a staircase that was taped off like it was "out of order".

(interviewer) said that it was (company).

(interviewer) said if I get on the "short list", he will contact me within one week.

Nothing was suspicious about the whole thing. Thus far, to me, it appears legitamate.

On the other hand, things are not always the way they appear. (Maybe it's such a great scam, that I didn't notice anything.)

Also, I was not able to look up (interviewer) on LinkedIn. They did not tell me their last names. But maybe there's nothing wrong with that.
