Rice or pasta. I want to make sure I'm eating the right things.

I wasn't sure so did a search, the AI summary confirmed my gut (excuse me) feelings:

Quote:
Both pasta and rice can be healthy components of a balanced diet. Generally, whole grain versions of either are better choices due to higher fiber content. If choosing between white rice and white pasta, the nutritional differences are minimal, and it often comes down to personal preference and how well you digest them.

There inexpensiv automatic rice cookers that work very well. Rice might be better if you are picky about it being cooked the same every time. The clever invention uses magnets. When a magnet gets too hot, it stops being magnetic. They use this property to shut of the rice cooker.

For me rice.
Other than it's due to a lifetime habit from my current living culture...

I don't know.
I have an occasionally weird gut reaction if I ate too pasta.

SPAM Musubi is a staple of Hawaiian crusine. The main ingredients, SPAM, rice, and Nori, are all shelf stable.
