Empathy is fake.

Humans don't feel empathy, they just pretend to so they don't look like social deviants. But is humans did actually have empathy the world would either be a lot less horrible, or it would be even more horrible because everyone would be bawling their eyes out for every person in the world that is suffering.

I would say the world is horrible because of the 1% of people who don't feel empathy. Unfortunately those are the people who end up becoming rich and powerful and having a huge impact on the world, because in order to get to the position of someone like Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk, you have to be completely ruthless.

I feel empathy and I am human. I think a lot of animals like dogs, bears etc also feel empathy.

I think someone invented the word, empathy so that they would feel high and mighty about themself.
