We have four dogs at the office. One of them is well behaved, but the other three are in serious need of training. Two of the dogs, including the one that is well behaved, belong to my nephew. The other two belong to friends of his, neither of which are around.
I have to give myself Vitamin B12 injections every other week. The pharmacy delivered the next two injections on Tuesday (they deliver in my county) and set them on the conference table. One or more of the dogs jumped up on the conference table and grabbed the sack which includes two vials of Vitamin B12, two syringes, and four needles (20 guage to load the syringe from the vial and 25 guage to inject it into my leg. They mangled the syringes and needles, but I only found two needles, not four.
The needles have a protective cap on them so they should be safe from being stuck by a needle, but I'm not sure about the needles with caps making it through their intestines with damaging something. If it does, I'm sure not paying for their vet bills.
One of the vials actually looks okay, but I don't know whether or not it might be contaminated.
Of course, this being Christmas Eve, I don't know what the pharmacy's hours are today and on Friday. I would bet that they close early both days.
I have tried to tell my nephew and his friends that they need to train their dogs to behave, but they just get mad and say that it is none of my business.
