I got there very early and stood around my car hoping someone would stop and it would be her.
I can relate to that! When I was in my 20's I met a girl at a party, we hit it off and she spent the night with me at my place. We exchanged phone numbers in the morning. A coupe of days later she called me up and asked me out to a movie. I thought she was really, really good looking, so happily I said yes. We decided to meet outside the theatre. When I arrived, there were a lot of good looking girls hanging around there and I realized that I had no idea which one might be her. Luckily for me, one of them started to walk towards me me with a smile on her beatiful face. We never got married, though. But let me tell you a story about my wife. After we got properly together as a couple, this was a couple of months later than the movie-girl, I talked to my future wife about occasions when we had met before it got serious- saying hello at parties and things like that. No, that was not me! she said. I turned out that there had been three girls that I had been talking to and she was only one of them.
