I went thought cycles of being quiet in school, it never helped me not be a primary target though.

In the Quiet if you add being observant, to the physical people nearby, that can , " help you read the room" knowing when to absorb info. when to leave, when to respond / or listen. Being there or in a place of peers or others does not always mean,talking/ input is the best thing to do. Sometimes, I want to say something, that pertains to what has been said, and do miss the opportunity, because I was being too observant, ( read the room) but then I try to think, maybe my input was not meant to be,at particular point in time . And might feel stymied ,to be quiet. And sometimes that information, somehow might not be good for certain people to hear ? Who knows why. But it took along time to get to the place, where even if I hadnt spoke for awhile to another single human being? That my input maynot be a good or well timed thing .
