I guess some Allistics also have these characteristics

When we do fine-dining there is a short list of restaurants I favor and, depending upon which we are in, my bride knows whether I will want to order:

  • - scallops
  • - crab cake
  • - cod
  • - lamb
  • - filet mignon

I thought this predictablity was a characteristic of my Autism...but I guess the characteristics are shared with a number of Allistics.

"People who wear the same few outfits, drink from the same mug, and order the same meal usually protect these 6 kinds of mental energy"

Or, these characteristics are maybe shared with people with stronger than average autistic traits? Really only way to know if someone is actually an allistic is to let them go through an autism assesement.

I'm inclined to agree with you...with one concern.

I think that would imply a lot more people than expected are on the Autism Spectrum...just in the mild or the even-milder-than-that section.
