I have heard that he is solely responsible for the show's decline...but is that really true?

What awful changes did he make to SpongeBob?

And can those horrible changes be reversed or reverted?

I blame it on global warming destroying SpongeBob's habitat.

Lol

In all seriousness I believe that Paul Tibbitt did a lot of irreversible damage to the show like maybe he is the one who is 100% responsible for the increase of Squid Abuse and all the other crap that is prevalent in the modern episodes!! !

Paul Tibbetts? The guy who flew the Enola Gay and dropped the bomb on Hiroshima?

Wasn't Paul Tibbitt fired back in 2015?  If so, then his replacement has had 10+ years to set things right.

But unfortunately SpongeBob CANNOT recover without Stephen Hillenburg!! !

Even if what you said is true and correct regarding Paul Tibbitt being fired from the show @Fnord it's too late to restore SpongeBob SquarePants to its "default settings" or original state & Nickelodeon should just PUT THE DAMN THING OUT TO PASTURE ALREADY!! !! !!

Which they are in the process of already...
