Why aren’t I allowed to date anyone other then my boyfriend?

I have autism, mild intellectual disability and impulse control disorder so why aren’t I allowed to break up with my boyfriend I am under medical guardianship due to compulsive sexual behavior ? My guardian which is my parents approves of my boyfriend because he has good intentions but I can’t date any other guy because they don’t know if he has good intentions or is going to take advantage of me. What do you think?
