Political Card Reading: Will Iran attack American soil?
Yeah I know, before when I did my little card readings they were pretty chaotic and all over the place. Probably due to periods of me being so mentally unstable...
But anywho I find that they're easier to do if I'm in a calmer state of mind, consistent with my methods, etc.
Lately I've been reading lenormand using actual playing cards and it seems to work pretty well for me. And just so it's out there I read my cards the old fashioned way which is for trying to predict future events, none of that fluffy 'love and light' psychological tool stuff that's caught on in recent years and, in my opinion, has really damaged the magic behind fortune telling.
So anyways I decided to focus a card reading on the war growing between Iran and the US last night. I just have a very bad feeling about this mess that should have been avoided...
So here goes my card reading, which as you can see I set up on a temporary mini altar dedicated to my personal deities of worship (Ceres, Flora, & Pomona).
The cards I pulled last night are as follows from left to right:
9 of Clubs - The Fox
Jack of Clubs - The Whip
Jack of Spades - The Child
8 of Clubs - The Mountain
Queen of Spades - The Snake
What I see here isnt necessarily a direct attack on our soil by Iran, but something far worse and dangerous happening behind the scenes.
The Child being the center focus card indicates the start of a new dangerous era given the fact that it's surrounded on all four sides by Clubs (in the traditional Lenormand system the Clubs are generally regarded as the worst cards no matter how you slice them).
The Mountain card to the right represents the obstacles standing in the way of everything from peace talks & ceasefires to keeping the Strait of Hormuz open to the obstacles standing in Iran's way as they "vow revenge" against the US for killing their leader.
That combined with The Snake card points to forbidden hidden knowledge, hidden dangers or a dangerous situation on the other side of either side of "the mountain". It's like that Greek Myth involving Echidna the Mother of all Monsters who hid in a mountain cave with her monsterous children attacking and eating travelers. Although the Gods sent the hundred-eyes giant Argus to slay the danger to humankind, the danger was already done and her monsterous children were unleashed on the world, creating more trouble for mortals.
Then there's the issue of The Fox and The Whip to the left of The Child.
The Fox indicates deception. Everything from spying to theft to spreading lies and trickery (iow propaganda).
The Whip is about inflicting pain and punishment and through the Fox with its focus on The Child, it means that all the powers at be, for both the US and for Iran, are exploiting people's fears, suffering, and ignorance with an agenda.
Seems to me like we'll be dealing with terror attacks, corrupt governments exploiting their people and protecting their own selfish interests, a world becoming increasingly poorer and less stable, and a new era that will bring misery for all.
Things look pretty hopeless. Sorry... ![]()

Which they probably won't, other than maybe encouraging a small terrorist attack by proxy here and there.
But they do control the Strait of Hormuz which supplies the world so that's an important leverage they hold over us.
That and their ability to manipulate the Useful Infidels in the West into supporting their side of the war through internet propaganda that the most gullible of Americans always eagerly buy into.
No it's not that the card itself doesnt tell the truth, but it reveals a person or situation in the reading that is being deceptive.
I was laughing about the idea of it being FOX News because we all know that's the biggest lying pro-MAGA Propaganda network in the states.
Do you folks think Iran has nuclear weapons? I honestly don't know what to believe anymore. Even CNN has left a sour taste in my mouth. Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes, even MSNBC seems to drift to the right too.

Iran May Have Exploited SS7 Protocol Weaknesses Across the Gulf
Iran reportedly exploited Signaling System 7, or SS7, a set of protocols that handles subscriber calls, texts, and roaming routing. Data shared with FT allegedly showed regional telecom networks fending off a wave of SS7 "pings."
Gulf officials suspected Iran or its allies of exploiting roaming agreements with local phone providers, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Gary Miller, a senior research fellow at Citizen Lab who in April analyzed global telecom exploitation by surveillance actors, said at least some of the tracking attempts could be linked to an Iranian mobile phone operator and described the activity as "very specific user targeting."
Tracking Coincided With Strikes on U.S. Forces
Using this technique, Iran was reportedly able to locate U.S. military forces stationed at bases as well as hotels in Iraq, Bahrain, and elsewhere in the Middle East, as Iran and Iran-backed militias struck several hotels in the region during the war.
Experts cautioned that further investigation is needed to attribute specific attacks to the digital surveillance, noting that human spotters, personnel's own hotel reviews, and social media posts could also be possible intelligence streams.
U.S. Central Command told Congress it had "received multiple threat reports concerning adversary exploitation of commercial location data to target or surveil US personnel in theatre," while a separate U.S. official pushed back, stating any claim that data tracking played a significant role in attacks "is a departure from the facts."
Advertising Technology Also Allegedly Abused
Beyond SS7, actors linked to Iran are believed to have used commercially available advertising databases to track phones in Iraqi Kurdistan, a U.S. official told FT. Rep. Pat Harrigan (R-NC) said legislation is needed to stop tech companies from selling location data tied to government personnel.
Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) said he has warned successive U.S. administrations for years about the national security risks posed by these vulnerabilities, citing a DHS presentation that previously identified Iran among the "primary countries" using SS7 to target U.S. subscribers.
A Wyden letter in May explicitly noted that government contractors briefed military leadership in 2016 on the ease of tracking smartphones owned by military members, as adversaries exploit geolocation data via ad profiles.
In October 2025, U.S. researchers uncovered massive unencrypted satellite leaks affecting calls, texts, and military data.

Honestly I don't know what to believe anymore myself...
I have no doubt in my mind that there's Iranians that hate Americans, especially after what Trump did but would they really build up nukes and risk destroying the world just to get back at us?
I don't know. I just know a lot of our news sources regardless if they lean left or right have lost their credibility. But FOX News is the worst.
Also I'm beginning to see the irony here from back when George W. Bush claimed Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction".
