I have faith that eventually this will all come crashing down on those who enabled MAGA to get this bad, even if Trump himself never faces the consequences of his actions.

unfortunately it will come crashing down on us all.

As it seems , as things seem to be progressing in the direction of a possible Absolute dictatorship . And as it seems the world may not recover from this mess either. Am certainly wishing that a better option would arrive .

I'm hoping the coming apocalypse in 2027 takes care of things for us.

The only thing I'm wondering about right now is who will be able to follow a 'larger than life' personality. Trump's a statistical outlier. He was a rich kid sent to work with Bronx contractors and drives people up the wall by talking and acting the part. He had a ton of showbiz psychology and 'Art of the Deal'. Making another Trump is like making another Bill Gates - the circumstances to 'fabricate' a certain kind of person are one-offs.

It's probably most likely JD Vance or Marco Rubio. I wouldn't have even considered Rubio a couple years ago but he's been super visible and just everywhere in this administration.

What I'd have to imagine they're most likely to do is keep pushing the voting security statutes until they're satisfied with the results (my guess - proof of citizen to be on the voter rolls, expedited service for updating rolls for recently married women), they'd probably find a way to pick up Neville Roy Singham from China, they'd probably try to rehab Cuba the way they're trying with Venezuela, what I don't know is what they'd do if they got all of that sorted as well even the ideal case of some kind of peaceful regime change in Iran to something like a European parliament.
