Does anyone else deal with agoraphobia in addition to Autism. How do you deal with the agoraphobia and try to get out in public while dealing with the autism part? Any suggestions or recommendations for someone who wants to try and get out in person public a little more and make a few friends?

I am able to get out in public. I don't see the people in a crowd as individuals, just as individual obstacles to be navigated around.

Ummmm...not so good for making friends, however.

Thanks for the tip. I felt alone like I'm the only one with both diagnoses. I believe that the agoraphobia comes from being teased and bullied all the way from elementary school to high school, and now I'm afraid of getting in front of new people and saying something stupid, or people talking about me behind my back.
