I think I sound too "American" and it embarrasses me sometimes. Especially when I say "sorry". I live in Atlantic Canada, where everyone supposedly sounds Scottish or Irish, but that's just yet another stereotype. But it really annoys me when British people think words like "pants" instead of "trousers" or "elevator" instead of "lift" are exclusively American and therefore "wrong". And Canadians usually only spell "color" or "flavor" with a "u" maybe about half the time, but we want others to think we do all the time and not just British people.

It says I have a British accent, which I do...because I'm British. Essex accent, to be precise.

Haha I tried today with the Vocal Image, and my results were all over the board!
First, I got 78% Chinese accent, next time 85% Indian accent, next 85% American accent, then 90% Spanish accent, then 85% Russian accent, then 88% British accent.
Then I switched back to Accent Guru and got 60% Polish accent 40% American, and 2nd time today with them 70% American and 30% British.

My final result I went back to Vocal Image, try again to see if I can get any consistent result... And I was starting to wonder if it was possible for the app to identify a Canadian accent....
I got 85% Canadian!

Lol I thought that was a good place to stop for today. But... I think maybe I can summarize for now, my accent is probably a bit blended/ a bit of a mix or hard to identify!
