I don't LOVE what I FEAR and I'm not Christian at all ... just desired some feedback from other members.

Any Thoughts?

I fear the way some people need one.

Me too! Why do people need a sky-daddy to feel whole? I would NEVER worship Jehovah. NEVER EVER!!

Neither, because I don't believe 'god' can be defined adequately to make those sorts of emotions relevant.

Thank you very much for the advice. Very much appreciated. I hope you are well today. I live in constant "fear" of everything in public and just want to be left alone. I'm a better man for doing such.

Dare I ask ... how would you define "God"? I (guess) believe "God" is in us already and we are all related to each-other. Maybe?

I'm not sure I would define 'god' at all, it's not a relevant concept to my life.

I understand that others might have definitions for the word and that those definitions aren't always coherent with one another. This lack of coherency is at the core of why I can't view the concept of god/gods as anything more than a human construct.

You could replace 'god' with 'the boogie man' or 'heffalumps and woozles' or 'my fairy godmother' or 'the great pumpkin' in most uses and the meaning would remain the same, in my eyes.

Many people invoking the concept isn't enough to presuppose there's any objective truth behind the concept.

Do you love heffalumps and woozles, or do you fear them, or do you just think that it's an inherently silly question because everyone knows heffalumps and woozles don't exist?

I am a Christian and I do love God and also at times fear God. So it is a bit of both for me.
