Is it wrong to talk about personal issues at work?

I feel like there has been a number of times now where I've struggled to bottle up any problems I have in my personal life from work and sometimes I've spoken about them at work because I want to get them off my chest so my day at work feels better. Sometimes I will do this thing of not talking to anyone unless a colleague asks what's wrong. Obviously I can't not talk at all because I'm engaging with customers.

Wrong?  Maybe not.  Gaining the reputation of being someone who can do nothing about their personal issues except complain is certainly not a good idea.
