Title says it all. I've been hemming and hawwing to apply for a 2 year engineering program at a community college. However, I don't feel ready yet due to not being good at math throughout my childhood and teenhood. Maybe I do have dyscalculia but also another factor is I didn't have effective teachers. On a related note I am traumatized of my special ed math teacher from highschool who was always talking about politics before teaching the class. He was one time stern with me when I chuckled at something he said. (don't remember what it was but it was probably trivial) and directly stared at me.
Well, I think I am getting off-topic. Math isn't my strongest subjects obviously. But I do want to be open minded and conquer my doubts. I want to take small baby steps though and just treat studying as a hobby first. I already have a clue on what to do. Go on Khan Academy and do some lessons of course. I just felt like sharing these thoughts and I am curious if anyone has been in my shoes before. Also curious on what is your way of studying?
