What to call ourselves?

Given the revelations in Herwig Czech, “Hans Asperger, National Socialism, and ‘race hygiene’ in Nazi-era Vienna,” Molecular Autism (2018), I was wondering if individuals not only on this forum but in the entire Wrong Planet community still call themselves “aspies” and why?
If I've got it correctly, this is the link for Czech's article:

I thought of one possibility. Take the initials of Autism Spectrum Disorder or ASD, add "ies" and you get ASDies or Asdies, which sounds close enough to 'Aspie" to be an easy-to-learn substitute. And certainly the substitute suggested for 'Asperger Syndrome' is too many words and misses the mark, viz. "Social Communication Disorder". Yet at the same time, the word 'Aspie' is all over the clinical literature and has been for years, so slip-ups will happen. But identity-politics "cancel culture" and "call out culture" guarantees that people will jump all over you for using the term, even if you use it unintentionally. It's already happened to me. I actually think that we would be doing more good by getting rid of identity-politics cancel culture and call out culture which are based entirely in guilt.

I mentioned on another thread a week or two ago evidence has since emerged that HA wouldn’t have been aware of the euthanasia program.
Did you know Henry Ford was a nazi. He praised hitler publicly hated the Jews and supported hitlers anti Jewish policies at the time.
Yet Ford motor company is still one of the most popular cars in US, his signature Ford in the oval badge is on the front of every new Ford that comes off the production line.
I bet plenty of Jews drive them some may be completely unaware of this fact.

Your reply "I mentioned on another thread a week or two ago evidence has since emerged that HA wouldn’t have been aware of the euthanasia program" is news to me and fascinating. Can you please point me to that thread you talked about? It would come in handy for all the arguments I get into about HA, so I could sure use some ammunition. It had occurred to me that there are many disreputable individuals whose names remain unchanged and un-objected-to, and that those who cry loudest about HA still use the names of these individuals. Ford is a great example. I hope I can get around to making a list of all such people. Two of the first that came to mind was Julius Caesar and his successor Augustus, both bloody dictators. Yet we still use the term July (which is named for Julius Caesar) and August which is named for his successor. And to this day, people still name their children Julius and August.
