Hi everyone, i've been inactive here. I have forgotten the password to this account, but now i have reset it and i now make sure that i can remember it if i hadn't logged in to this account for a while.

Anyway, while i had been gone, a lot of things happened in my life. First of all, i've graduated high school. I'm going to part time college in the fall, where i've joined an online course that teaches everything libraries. For example, it will teach me about the dewey decimal system as well as how to use library setups for sorting books and for helping out those who visit the library. I had applied to join a program that my college runs for people with either intellectual disability related problems or other serious learning problems (Their words, not mine), but i've been denied and i don't know why so i can't really explain why.

Other than that, i was assessed for a developmental services agency that my provincial government manages and owns. They had used an adaptive behaviour skills assessment to see if i met their criteria of adaptive skill deficits. It had to be two scores below the mean for at least two daily life activities, and i had low scores for nearly everything that the test had included. That made them say that i was in the extremely low range of functioning, and so i was accepted or as they say, eligible to receive services and supports from them. After that, i had another assessment called the Supports Intensity Scale which was more focused on how much support i needed, when during a week did i need and for how long did i need the support for. Their results say that i'm in the mid range of support needs compared with other adults with a developmental disability.

And i think that's it. What happened in your guys' lives while i haven't been active? How are you all doing, how was all of your days?

I'm glad you returned!

And I congratulate you on moving to the next level of education. I hope you enjoy college. And I sort of suspect you will.

I made the transition to retirement! I no longer have to worry about being relevant.
I just paid my quarterly taxes to the IRS. That and voting are the important stuff I do as a retiree!

Welcome back!
Interestingly I considered a Library program back when I was 19 too, I took an initial course for it, but life had other ideas for me, so I didn't end up continuing it at the time. But I think it sounds like such a lovely career, I hope you can do it!

I have recently been more active again in the past few months, but still struggle to post a lot. haha. I have been doing a lot of work on a personal blog and writing reflections and memories and that's been a fun side project for me recently. And then coming here and seeing what's going on!
