There's three varieties of psychoactive mushrooms:

Psilocybin-containing mushrooms (which contain the serotonin 5-HT_2A receptor agonist and serotonergic psychedelic psilocybin);
Amanita muscaria mushrooms (which contain the GABA_A receptor agonist and GABAergic hallucinogen muscimol);
and finally;
Hallucinogenic bolete mushrooms, which we don't yet know the active ingredient from and are known to cause Lilliputian hallucinations.

This is one of my favor smells, and it's amazing it as taken so long to learn there is a name for it.

I learned all about the unbelievable disaster that was Woodstock 99, which was created to celebrate Woodstock 1969. Which is weird, because I was in my 20s at that time but I didn't know or care much about it. But it was human behavior at its absolute worst. The acts of misogyny, racism and even anti-Canadianism was just disgusting. But that's what happens when you have hundreds of people crowded together, especially when they're deprived of basic human needs like water and food, the event takes place during a massive heat wave, and you throw drugs and alcohol into the mix.

I read that a lot of people developed trench foot and trench mouth, which is what soldiers in WWI got from spending all their time standing in pools of filth and bacteria.

The Beatles were the original boy band. I thought it was The Monkees.
