So who cares if Israel is nuked or South Korea (a major trading partner) is invaded. Also how much greater is the cost of keeping them there then the cost of keeping them here, either way we are paying for the soldier and his family to live pretty much, its not like we send reservists to Korea (at least not typically.)

I don't care if they are invaded. If people in South Korea want/need our products, they will probably still want/need them even if the government changes. We've been sitting over there maintaining a cease-fire for 50 years. It's time to resolve the matter one way or another.

Your right we should go invade North Korea now to end it.

Why? Make your case. Also, show me that the South Koreans really want it.

I don't think it is the job of the US government, its military, and its taxpayers to go around warming people's hearts... If we're going to do that at all, we need to make sure every heart in the US is sufficiently warmed first. I don't believe there is anything wrong with taking care of the homeland first.

I don't know. Do you think they give those away for free? If an American has a Korean car, it is because someone bought it. Not because Koreans wanted them to be warm.

The problem is that Americans like the best deal for them in the end.

Sorry. I'm not a Republican. The last time I voted Republican was probably in 1996. I don't associate with that party and generally tend to vote against them.

Until all the problems in the United States are resolved, I'm not too worried about the rest of the world.

I never said we should not buy their products. We can buy them if we want to. Willing to trade with them does not require us to keep a military force there, and if they desire that we keep a military force there then they should pay for 100% of the expenses related to that.

The best thing for Korea would be Unification of the Peninsula of Korea. If the US wants South Korea to pay for the costs then they should ask them to pay for the costs then. South and North Korea have very limited trade or any type of relations with each-other that is what We need to encourage them to strive for in the end.
