I am not a programmer, but I worked as a "systems analyst" for about 13yrs...the system architects, etc...loved me...I was pulled into "marketing" as a business analyst because I had much better social skills than the programmers, but understood enough about how the system worked to actually translate that into something the customer could understand. The system architects loved me when I would write a "business requirement", as they were so detailed they literally just copied into another document and used as a "system design"...hehe...I used to love my job, I felt I was able to be creative from the business stand point and technical at the same time...unfortunately, some little marketing MBAs came on board that knew NOTHING about the system, but because they had MBAs wanted to "control" what was being programmed...at that point the new developments turned to crap...hehe...and I slowly began to withdraw...hmmm

My best friends were always the programmers...
