Southland, season 3, episode 4; "Code 4" - when Nate died, actually I started to cry right at the beginning as soon as I heard the scream and saw Sammy crying.

The Wire - the episode where Wallace got killed by his friends and the episode where Dukie went to Prez for money and then went to buy drugs.

Homicide Life on the Street - the episode "Crosetti", especially at the end where Pembelton gives Crosetti a one-man honor guard outside the HQ.

Criminal Minds, the season 5 episode "100" - when Hotchner's wife gets murdered.

The Shield - the episode where Lem died.

I feel like the dorky new kid... I don't recognize 95% of what's been posted so far. But the things that get me to tear up from time to time are episodes of House and Law & Order SVU. Mariska Hargitay makes me cry a lot.

Never cried during a TV episode, but the Seinfeld and Frasier finales made me fuzzy inside...especially the scene in the Seinfeld finale where they're in the jail cell and the camera pans away while they're just sitting there and talking. The Frasier finale during the part where Frasier's saying goodbye to his dad, his dad's new wife, Roz, Daphne, and Niles.

Also the Boy Meets World finale where Mr. Feeney says "Class dismissed."

I think I remember crying at that episode of Pokemon where Ash let his Butterfree go. Later he nearly let Pikachu go, but I can't remember if I cryed at that when I first saw it.

Original Star Trek: City on the Edge of Forever.

Dr. McCoy, accidentally injected with an overdose of a massive stimulant, becomes violently paranoid, and jumps through an ancient alien artifact that sends people to the past of their homeworlds. The moment that he does, the entire Federation of Planets ceases to exist; its only remnants are the rest of the landing party, including Kirk and Spock. Realizing that the doctor has changed history for the worse, Kirk and Spock go through the portal after him, landing in Chicago in the 1930s. They take a room in a boarding house while looking for McCoy, and Kirk (predictably) falls in love with the landlady, Edith Keeler (played by Joan Collins, so who could blame him?); Spock, meanwhile, finds that the change to history came when Edith, an extreme pacifist, entered politics, and managed to keep the US out of WWII until the Nazis were unstoppable. (Meanwhile, Edith also finds McCoy, takes him home, and nurses him back to health, not knowing that he was exactly who her "new beau" was looking for.)

At the end, Kirk and Edith are about to go to a movie, when McCoy comes out of the boarding house. Kirk hurries across the street to greet his old friend. Edith stands there for a moment, then comes toward them - as a truck is roaring down the street. McCoy tries to save her, but Kirk, realizing that this is the moment that things changed, holds him back, and Edith is struck and killed by the truck. Closeup on Kirk's agonized face.

MCCOY: My God, Jim! Do you know what you've done?

SPOCK: He knows, Doctor. He knows.

The shows that made me cry were:

A country Practice: when Molly Jones died in the final scene Brendon was running towards her screaming MOLLY.
For our American friends A Country Practice was an Australian drama series in the 80's its on DVD now and it might still be on Youtube.
Some of the episodes of Little House on the Prairie were tearjerkers too.

Recently, I caught an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air on TV, and I was surprised to find I was caught up in it... it tweaked my emotions quite hard. It was the one where Will's dad appears and then disappears again. So sad.

The season finale of CSI, after Ray (Lawrence Fishburne) kills his nemesis and mirror image, the serial killer and sexual sadist Nate Haskel. Viewing Haskel's corpse in the morgue with his close friend the coroner, Ray recalls how beside having the same genetic makeup that Haskel did which causes a predisposition for violence, he had also been raised by a violent, alcoholic father who had beaten him and his mother. He went on to describe to his friend how as a child, he had striven to be good like other people, even carving on his desk, "be good ray."
To which the coroner answered, "You are good, Ray."
Really choked me up, especially as Fishburne, as an actor of his stature, was able to convey a certain empathy for the child who had become the monster on the morgue slab, as well as reliving the sadness of his own troubled past.
But that last line by the coroner, "You are good, Ray," got me moisty eyed.

How bout that episode of Digimon season 2 that was centred around Ken after his defeat as the Digimon Emperor. They never really explained how his brother Sam died.

i definately got something stuck in my eye during the last episode (s3) of Being Human (UK)

I forgot what episode but when amber dies and Wilson blames House and says he doesnt want him anymore.

"House's Head" (part 1) and "Wilson's Heart" (part 2--the one you're referring to).

This episode made me teary eyed. The other tv episode to make me cry was the only episode of Futurama i've ever seen entitled Jurrassic Bark.
It was a late night in college town and i was procrastinating about print making and paper typing(as usual). I needed something to cheer me up and figured futurama would make me laugh. I watched it and waited to laugh but...it was one of the saddest things on a cartoon show i've ever seen. I've never had any desire to see a Futurama episode after that.

Actually, that episode made me extremely sad every time I see it, too. It made me think of my last dog, who I had had to leave for years with my elderly mother, till she wasn't able to live alone anymore. By that time, my dog was himself so old and infirmed when I took him back that I didn't have nearly enough time with him, when he passed on.

"One millionth of a millisecond on a Sunday Morning": Really sad Breyton scene, where Brooke, who has just gotten attacked at her store is laying on the couch and Peyton is stroking her hair. I know that may come across to some people as gay, but to me it just comes across as sad, and kind of sweet and oh my god I feel like crying right now just thinking about it
