I use a cup so it doesn't usually bother me. But before the cup, I would just dry off then throw the towel down the laundry shoot or sometimes I can simply pass it off for a bloody nose because I tend to get noese bleeds in the shower, especially when it's a hot, steamy shower and my brother would buy into that because that has happened to him too.

I find that dark coloured towels are just good in general. A light one looks bad within a month or so and it's a shame to stain a new one. Dark ones are also good for dying your hair or drying the dog after a bath or playing in the rain. Most of mine are dark or patterned so there's no problem.
