I'm not saying we're superior, or that NTs are completely unwelcome. But aspies need a place to go to get away from our stigma, and to be able to live amoung our own peeps as part of a normal society, where we're not marginalized, overshadowed, ignored, or left behind.
NTs pretty much have the rest of the world, as is set to their strengths and weaknesses. I think it would be good to have atleast one place that is geared towards AS strengths and weaknesses, where we can gather. So it should be majority AS, but that's not to say NTs are unwelcome.
This is how I feel about it though...... There are undoubtedly too many people on here claiming to be something theyr not (aspie), and while I have no problem with good NTs, in my mind the NTs who pretend to be AS and get into topics that do not involve them, are raping aspiedom. They are as bad as the bad NTs (and I make little distinction amoung them). They truely know nothing of our struggles so I do not feel as they have the right to comment on them.
This is essentially the same thing they've done with Bipolar and AD(H)D and such. I wouldn't even be the least bit surprised if fake aspies were just as ignorant towards real aspies as any other person of the narrow minded portion of NT society, and just fail to realise it. They've got this trend "oh look at me I'm 'disabled' ".

I will say though, if she accepts my offer, there is a NT who will have a high spot in my campaign. I selected her because of her research qualifications, and her coming progress in those researches. Her name is Denise, should she decide to accept.

Chances are, we won't live to see Aspergia, but that does not mean we can't make a group effort to make it possible some day, perhaps in our grandchildren's (or would-be grandchildren's)lifetime.
What I'm working on right now is designing plans to establish our own housing developments and real-estate agencies, schools, businesses, pulling our peeps together.... And, fighting a number of issues that we deal with (and some of these I may even align with other nuero diversity activist groups for, such as schizophrenics), to challenge a system of silent segregation in schools, work, social life, etc.
I think we're going to need an aggressive format. Not violent (unless we're in a self defense situation) but aggressive. Like Malcom X. Reason being, because hatred can only be eliminated through a proccess of respect being gained through fear. This is sociology. This is the sole reason why Malcom made the progress he did in his campaign, because he made those who wronged him and his people fear them, and through that fear they gained respect, and hince, equality. On the other hand, passive flower-child liberal "activist" movements rarely ever broke any ground... Because people, and society, are too strong in their animal hatreds to listen otherwise. The way to freedom is to break the chains and beat down their doors.
At the moment I am working with AlexUK. He, I believe, is willing to run our European theatre, while I run the North American theatre.
Note, applicants for the cause who claim to be AS will be screened and tested. Alex is working on this set-up. NTs are allowed to help, as long as they don't pretend to be AS, and as long as they acknowledge that they don't understand our stuggles the way we ourselves do. So NTs are allowed, fake aspies aren't, real aspies are. I'm not pointing out individual names to who the fake aspies on here are, as I am not trying to start a flame war. But you know who you are.
That being said, being as the real/fake scenario as it is, if I'm interested in offering someone a spot, I'll approach that person. Please don't ask to get involved (though I doubt anyone will). Once the page is up I'll post it, but if you claim to be AS you will be screened before being allowed membership. Now if this kicks off a flame war note I will not waste my time responding. I have not mentioned any names on who is real and who isn't, and I intend to keep it that way. If your real and you seem like you may be interested I will approach you.
