No, there's no need to apologise. I was pissing around and winding up iamnotaparakeet. I'm not new here though and have promiosed to be good now

But yeh you shouldn't apologise as I admit I was being an ass, and I am friends with the others who were trolling. I didn't make this account to troll or piss people off though and I don't intend to do that now (although I will argue with people if they're posting things I think are stupid - I don't think that is against the rules though)

Also sorry if I have in any way aggravated you or insulted you during the religion/homophobia stuff. I did think some of your moderator decisions were wrong but I see you're a decent bloke so hopefully things are cool with us now

To me, it seemed to be the source of attacks upon me, although I suppose it was rather just a subset of the members. Hope you aren't too offended about my removing you and a few others from my facebook friends list. After changing the privacy settings I wanted to be sure there were no more potential sources of leaks onto I^2 and I when I was investigating the site I noticed a few of my facebook/WP friends also had I^2 accounts. I was paranoid, so I removed approximately 1,311 of my facebook friends (most of whom were for facebook games such as City of Wonder or just random).

Iamnotaparakeet, do you really know what you speak of when you speak of trolls?
Is a troll a moron who posts "You Ass-Pies all suck! LOL!! !" repeatedly and endeavors to answer all posts similarly OR someone who subtlety uses methods to undermine a structure or person to force their will and change something inline with their wants and needs?
The answer is "Yes".
So that is the problem downplay what a troll is and/or generalise and you get a misconception of what you deal with.
"Start a troll subforum?" How perfectly clever. You imagine a group of degenerates running in and then getting extremely upset and fleeing in horror of what they encounter and therefore either coming back willing to accept the alternative or fleeing WP never to return.
Only thing is....things do not work this easily. Thing is that people are generally social animals. Even amoung Aspies. Order in your imagined chaos would develop and hierarchies and a pecking order and no doubt rules. Quickly there would build a core group of the less sensitive and tougher trolls and they would slowly build their numbers to incorporate the tougher degenerates and look to capitalising on this.
You would soon have a little troll forum and Troll squad on your hand who would work in unison and as a collective and regulated force.

Now here is the big question....where do you think they may direct their attentions?

Yes indeed and let's look at what a troll is. He could be a Odyseuss trickster provocateur. A person who sees ways around problems thinking outside the square and undermining situations that threaten his existence (Cyclops) or threaten to bring down his friends (Wooden Horse) and lauded for his ingenuity, OR he could be the bully who targets the vulnerable people in ways subtle and not easily pinned on him.

Similar Modus Operandi. So which is a troll? Both. Are trolls inherently bad or wrong? No.
