Thats probably javaScript, Which isn't the grandest in Mobile devices anyway

Weirdly it claims to be Flash... Which is peculiar as Flash isn't supposed to run on iOS (!?)

Yes, I definitely think there should be a mobile-friendly version of WP. This site sometimes crashes on my Samsung phone and iPod.

I find that WP as it is doesn't work very well on a smartphone. I find myself constantly having to zoom in and out so I can click on things or read text, editing posts as I write them is annoying, and when I open more than a couple tabs, my ram usage shoots up and sometimes ends up crashing my browser (to be fair, I am using Firefox mobile with a few addons, not the lightest browser as it is, but I like my addons). It's not impossible to use but it is a hassle, and it's very clear it was designed to be used on a desktop browser.

To anyone here with an Android phone, I find that I can prevent WP from crashing by using a swapfile, but you can only do this if your phone is rooted, and it also carries the risk of wearing out the read/write cycles on your SD card or internal memory.

The last I saw about the mobile version of Firefox was that it isn't particularly stable.
I've never used it so I don't know, but I can say that the Dolphin browser has never crashed once - on WP or any other site.

Like many sites, WP was not designed with mobiles in mind so navigation can get a bit fiddly with much swiping around - but otherwise, I've had no issues at all with using it on my Android phone.

I can say Dolphin crashes to me quite often (every time I open too many tabs and try to write a long post in one of them) - and it happens only on WP.

On the other hand WP doesn't work at all on the browser I usually use - Opera Mini. Most websites do.

Version 11.1.5, Flash player on demand, load images always, enable Javascript, block pop-up windows?
How many tabs is "too many tabs"? I don't think I've had more than 8 open together because on a mobile phone's screen it just gets too fiddly to select them. I didn't have the patience to make too many posts - give me a desk-based keyboard any time.

Rather odd that mine works but yours doesn't, though.
It's the same browser (give or take a version or two) and the same site, so I wouldn't think the browser is exclusively to blame. The site is also pretty dull with what it expects from a browser and for content to actually cause a crash is weird - I would have expected lots of knock-on effects with desktop-based browsers if the site content was the only cause of it.

What does Opera mini "not work at all" look like - does it hang? Error messages?
