Just an idea
I believe that the Universe is Infinite. I can not see it any other way. I believe that if it was not Infinite, it would not be able to exist. Just the supposition of first cause determines the infinitude in my mind. Every moment is a creation and an end. When you wake up tomorrow you will be by definition, in an alternate reality, a parallel Universe, a different dimension, or simply another world at another point in space/time. Space and time are ratiometric and relative. The Sun does orbit around the earth, yet the Earth also revolves around the Sun. This creates a shared center of rotation. The sun is not fixed, it is in constant motion. If I push a glass across this desk. According to the processes of relativity, the Universe is actually shifted, moved. These also share a relative center point. Isnt it amazing that one can move the Universe with a simple breath? Every action is systemic. Acts are propagated through the Universe and have an immediate effect on your inner and outer environment. It is Karmic. Lets say that if our Verse began once. Would'nt that imply that it is likely to happen again? And if it happened here, whos to say, or not say, that it could'nt be happening Else where right now. Every moment is a creation. Would Pi be possible in a non Infinite Universe? If there was once nothing, how is their now something? Since their is now something, How would it conceivably disappear. And if it did disappear, where did it go? If you are moving left and someone is across from you and they see you going right, you are going left and right at the same time. Two different Verses coadapting. Why do bubbles always seem to be of certain proportions? How is the golden mean related to pi and would this also advertise infinite ratios? The speed of light is not a constant, it travels differently when affected by energy. There are people who have sent a coherent beam of electromagnetic energy into the past. Others have frozen a beam of light. I think that it may be possible to prove that the Universe is infinite yet I do not believe it is possible to prove otherwise.

Ok, I agree with you.. Motion (existence) is pointless without infinity.
The speed is constant in relation to any uniformly moving body however. Light itself is electromagnetic energy of a certain spectrum.
I'm simply trying to establish a set of values that applies to all physics, hoping to achieve a way of understanding the infinite nature of reality. To understand what we know, will lead us further into the unknown. The "proof" of infinity found therein.

I googled it and a guy smarter than us
say we do not know if the universe
is finite or infinite.
--------------
And as I think about it , Its the question TheMachine is asking "is time&space
infinite? " Thats like the most important thing in the universe something living in
it would like to know. Like even religious people think their souls will live
forever, but do we know there is a forever? If evolutions end game is TheMachine
then thats got to be what it wants to know the answer to.
It's all a matter of perception..
You can see what we don't know as infinite, or what moves as infinite because it is never in one fixed position, or you can see it as finite but we simply don't understand it yet.
Ultimately though, we learn more every single day ![]()
