Got a PM notification on e-mail YA! yet no new PM Boo!
You'll get lots of alerts coming in for old events that you've already seen and handled.
Think of all those thread updates and PMs you went and found manually - well, now the update alerts for them will finally begin arriving...

I now have a few pages of alerts covering the thread/PM updates that occurred on 26th - 28th, and many of today's are coming in too, so it's pretty close to being back in sync.

Hahaha! This is the most ridiculous answer I can ever hear from you, Plank. Kind of reminds me of Comcast, notorious for having one of the worst customer service systems in American industry.

Wait, working on what? Dry air? Or is it another runaround from our "Eternal President," who, after selling out to Autism Satan (forgive the colourful imagery, but it suits the situation), does nothing about the issues like annoying ads, spam, etc. (other than being Mr Moneybags, of course).

Fixed or not, Plank's answer is still highly laughable at best.

In what way? There was an issue. He said it was getting worked on. It is now working.

I've not been getting notifications for most of this week, but since no-one else has reported the same thing, I'm wondering if it's just me (and I haven't turned notifications off!).

Mine seem to have stopped too. Between the time I went to bed last night and this morning I didn't get any notifications and I know that some topics I'm watching were posted to.

Edit: It started going in my spam folder. I think it was my fault. I hate how gmail has the delete button next to the report spam button.

That's really odd. I've found mine in Spam, too, but I don't recall pressing the button by accident (as I notice when I do that! :/.

It may be that Google made some changes to the GMail spam filters recently and as a result, WP alerts now get trapped as spam.
I've not used gmail in any depth but I expect there's a means of telling it that mail from wrongplanet.net is never to be flagged as spam.

I use gmail and I have not had any trouble.

The spam button is right next to the delete button so every now and then I click it by accident. Once it's in the spam folder you can click the not spam button to make it go back to the inbox.
