That is simply not true. Yes they had dreams of "purifying" the race etc. etc. BUT killing disabled people was not the goal of this. Only getting rid of SOME disabled people, or sterilising them (just like in America) so they could not have children.

Otherwise, if they had had the goal of eradicating all disabled people, they would have had to kill off all their disabled war veterans, too.

Making this atrocity "all about disabled people and their rights" seems rather sickening to me.

He also killed smart people (that's why Einstein left). He knew they would/did figure out what he was planning to do. A lot of smart people were killed as he rose to power.

iam a little bit confused on the people hating autistics part. The few friends i have are very much quite comfortable with it after i explained more of what it was like to be autistic. However, i hate the idea of a cure. That would mean there is something wrong with me which there isn't.

I like your sentiments. I don't being being in the same group as dodos and dinosaurs.

...and before people get all carried away about 'evil' Adolf Hitler, I should probably mention that there was a suggestion going around the net a few years ago (I like to think it's not so) that he has AS, ugh. I think there's a few prominent military figures are thought to have AS. After all, we're not all angels.

If someone tried to destroy all Aspies I would fight to the last. If anyone tried to eradicate Asperger's 'sufferers' I will bomb the living daylights out of the rest of humanity, using letter bombs etc.

good point noetic. we tend to sometimes act or speak without thinking and it delivers the wrong impression. The part on bombing the NTs is probably just being used as a shock factor.

What I meant is that if they are trying to destroy us in open warfare, only then would I use bombs against them or what not. Other than a time like that, I would be devoting myself to studies and my life and hopefully creating some invention that changes the world forever, or creating a theory that dramatically changes our outlook on the world. But those are still dreams for when I am in University and beyond instead of high school.

Which is exactly why I do not believe that the NTs will ever try to destroy us. However, they probably are developing a vaccine to destroy AS, and so I will protest if they ever try to use it.

As I understand it, it seems like Hans Asperger was kind of doing the Schindler thing and trying to keep us from ending up in concentration camps or thrown in furnaces. Especially when he said that many of us, by the force of our ambitions, can often times end up in the highest spots in society - that I think was him kind of saying 'Even though it may seem there's something wrong with these people, they're net worth to society is way too high to say they are a burden to society'.

Then again, that's just my take.
