I know millions, the best i'd say are dj tiesto, atb, 4 strings, armin van buuren, ferry corsten (all gimics of him including system f and moonman), lasgo, ian van dahl, johan gielen, oceanlab and of course not forgeting me lol but at the moment i'm thinking of a new name as dj solid-x makes me sound chavvy.

Also Starbuline ask me anything you want if u wish to start producing your own music

I'm currently digging on old rockabilly and peace punk/post punk stuff like Zounds, Gang of Four, Grauzone, etc.

Wikipedia is a great source to discover new bands and new styles, back it up with evidence though, I'm only saying it helps give an idea of some great stuff.

I would reccommed Suicide, Gang of Four, Switchblade Symphony, Swans, Throbbing Gristle, lots of things really.

allmusic is a good place too to check out artists.

Type in a artist you know and like, and it lists a "Similar Artist" list.

It's neat. :)

At the moment I'm getting back into grindcore and things in a similar vein. Cattle Decapitation=hell yes.

Also, as a sharp contrast, I am getting more into techno and hip-hop.

Argh I keep missing them here. I live in the states, so they rarely come around, but everytime they do, I'm unvailable for some stupid reason or another.

Well, here's something for me. I ended up burning a cd for a girl at work a while back kinda exposing her to some of the stuff I'm into and since I'd told here I was into oldskool industrial like Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and all that she said she'd be down to burn me some. All I've gotta say is thanks - she burned me like 4 cds loaded with all kinds of stuff like Funker Vogt, Combichrist, Wumpscut, Psyclone Nine, Hocico, Murderdolls, Informatik, Professional Murder Music, Grendel, and a few KMDFM and MSI tracks. Still haven't heard most of it as of yet since I'm still ripping and IDing just so I can listen to it when I want from WMP but from what I've heard at least she's at least got good tastes and I'm liking the beats and the energy innit.

Ok, getting back at that I had a chance to skim some of these cds - liked the Hocico, Combichrist, and Wumpscut - one or two of the Icon of Coil tracks were alright. As far as Grendel, Funker Vogt, and Psyclone sound too much like trance with industrial vocals inserted over it - I prefer my trance as trance and like the somber and urgent side of it as well not the cheesy epic stuff.

if you like 1nd wave Industrial try 1st wave industrial Cabaret Voltaire and Throbbing Gristle in particular
Cabaret Voltaire in particular are fantastic

I want to get into surf-rock, raregroove, and find some good stuff from the late-70s & early-80s that i guess took a whole lot of rockers to the dance floor.
I also want to get into 40s RnB / Soul. And early Gospel.
Just yesterday I borrowed some Ragtime recordings.
Goooood. Music is neverending :roll: :D at least i know i'll never ever be bored.

edit - i really want to find some disco-punk also. artists like ! !!.
