Stinkbugs completely suck!!

Do your parents have a washing machine & dryer. Mine have both but mom likes to hang cloths on the cloths-line in our backyard to save electicity & less use is better for the machine(not that it's having problems but it will last longer) but learned that there are certain times in the year it's better & a lot easier for her to just put them in the dryer because of potential probelms outside like a habbit of suddently raining evern thou the weather looks fine, people in the area making fires to burn things including sugarcane farners burning their fields(it should be outlawed because of health hazard; it's hell on my sinuses & health issues were one reason I needed to move to my girlfriend's area instead of her moving there) & red-ants/aka fire-ants out hidding in the grass to bite you.

My chickens are the same and forever on the lookout for a meaty snack... when I'm digging the garden they are there getting in the way pulling worms and bugs out of the turned earth. Similarly when mowing the lawn they follow me around looking for "road kill" insects. Just wish they didn't like strawberries and cabbages so much!

Yeah, I think electricity is one factor that discourages my parents from using a dryer. Also not all types of fabric can be dried in it (such as nylon etc). Apart from the stinkbugs in a certain time of the year, I don't think there's any problem there.

The burning of the fields and the ants sound scary. They must be real nuisances.

My parents hung a couple strings accross the walls of their utility-room so alittle clothing can be hung inside. Prhaps a makeshift thing like that would encurage yours not to hang outside during that time.
