House On Haunted Hill. The original was B grade William Castle horror filled with bad acting and worst special effects, with the only shining light being Vincent Price' performance. The remake was filled with amazing, truly grotesque and frightening special effects, and great performances, especially by Geoffrey Rush who does a spot on Vincent Price impersonation.

Do book to movie renditions count? Because Drive was way better than the book.

  • Terminator 2 was better than Terminator 1.
  • Rambo 2 was as equally enjoyable as Rambo 1 (Rambo 3 - not so good.).
  • The book "The Devil Wears Prada" was HORRIBLE----the movie was GREAT!!
