No. It's one gigantic ball of stress and sensory overload. I would rather stay home and read and learn about faraway places than actually go there.

I don't like traveling at all. I have back problem so sitting in a car or airplane for a long time is very painful. Can't lift a full luggage myself. And if there's a family vacation I'm responsible for booking everything and arranging all activities. I can never sleep well in a hotel so I tend to get exhausted and get sick on the way back.I think I'd rather just watch some documentaries on my huge screen.

I went on various vacations with my parents as a kid & I always ended up wishing we had stayed home so I could of spent the time watching TV & playing video-games in my room.
The only traveling I've done as an adult was relationship related. All three of my relationships started online & were long-distance & I traveled to visit some before I was able to move in with my current girlfriend. After moving we traveled some to visit my parents. I'm glad I went on these trips but I hate the traveling part.

Yes but sadly I don't have the money to do it as often. I wish I was those rich influencers that have the luxury to travel very often. I am stuck at home and all I do is slave at my low paying job. The last time I traveled was in 2021 at the Oregon Coast but my mom chose a bad time to visit there when the weather was awful in February...

I get nothing out of travel. Sure, I enjoy it at the time, but once the trip is over, it is over.

My guess is that it has to do with aphantasia. Since I cannot visualize later what I saw while traveling, it seems rather pointless.

I like going on a plane ride me
I just love the turbulence
And I love to see people pretending to be brave when they're really cacking themselves

I enjoy travelling. Mostly its because I'm always a passenger on a train or a bus, and I usually can read my book on the way, taking breaks every few chapters to look out the window.
However, I'm not well travelled. I frequently go into the city for family and twice I have been overseas. I do not enjoy spending a lot of money to do the same things I can do at home.

Last time I was on a plane ( last week I think)
The bloke in the seat in front of me decided to start reminiscing about when concord took it's final flight
It turned out he was really scared of flying and had never sat on a plane before so when we hit turbulence I saw his bald spot start sweating

Also I like sitting next to the emergency door thing because it kind of like makes me important and I like to imagine scenarios where I might have to pull the handle and get everyone out of the plane

It's all very exciting

De plane boss, de plane!
