I think its a supoib idea! I'll be using it exclusively to block annoying, worthless mass-volume posters (no names, no pack drill ), rather than anybody I'm "in barney" with, so its unlikely to prevent flame wear unpleasantness per se, but we'll see how it goes.....

Is that you sarcasticaly saying that you are going to block people who make lots of spelling mistakes. In which case I would be delighted to tell you what a piontless skill spelling is  .

It is was not sorry for pointing out the spelling erros  , i hate it when people do with mine.

I'll think that you'll find that good spelling is far from pointless, my dear boy...... I actually find comprehensible grammar to be of more importance in the great scheme of things, but there you go. You're not going to spill that can of Stella on my carpet by the way are you? The stains are a bugger to shift, you know......

And it was a genuine typo - even I am not perfect (just very, very nearly....)

Does putting someone on ignore prevent threads started by said person are not seen also.

By the way I could not bring myself to put someone on ignore in case of missing something. At this stage there is no one that I would wish to ignore but I can see how it could come in handy with some personalities that may possibly annoy me. But they are yet to venture here.

I think it just edits out their post.. you can still see that they posted, but instead of the post it says "This person is on ignore" or something.
