The Babadook. One could say the entire movie is all about some horror in the mind.

Any movie featuring Vincent Price, except for the ones with "Dr. Phibes" in the title.

I'd never seen anything quite like Saw before. The sequels are just gory as hell for the sake of being gruesome. The original Saw was probably one of the best horror films of the last decade, but a successful movie often breeds many crappy successors. That was the case with Saw.

Saw ended at part 7...for now. I am sure the producers will indeed revive Saw rather soon. I've read rumors that it could be rebooted as well. Even if John Kramer died in Saw III, somebody can be influenced greatly and revive his life's "work' somehow.

If there is visual horror, then the movie is not "psychological". The best kind of horror movie leaves the gory parts to the imagination - that's where the "psychological" part comes in.

One very psychological movie I saw was The Skin I Live In.

It is in Spanish with sub-titles. It's disturbing in terms of how a person is totally medically violated. It's hard to explain without spoilers, but it was a mindf**k ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed Oculus.
