I think that may even be a better short description than the classic "I feel like I'm an anthropologist on an alien planet" line.

It makes for a much simpler lifestyle.

Most people seem obsessed with what other people think and with scoring points in inane mindgames at the expense of other people.

I have neither the time nor the patience for it. I stay quiet, say nothing to 'The In Crowd' bar that required by courtesy or business and carry on quite happy.

It can be amusing to watch sometimes, but it is not amusing to be on the end of it, something all NTs seem to forget when they open their mouths.

But, that's their lives and they are perfectly free to waste the opportunities they have.

Cheers Sophist. Nice to meet such a friendly community.

P.S. Isn't your avatar a UV image of the sun? or is it an XRay shot?

I thought it looked familiar. I saw a similar shot, either UV or XRay, in an astronomy book on a page opposite an article about solar flares and sunspots and the corresponding features were easily detectable, just like on the aforementioned avatar.

I think so, it was 20 years ago though so I'd have to think about that one, the colouring was different to a degree (I must be thinking of the wrong one).

Very close to my life-long identification with Mr. Spock.

Yep, ditto to BlackLiger's reply to my sun avatar. Course, NOW I've changed it, hehe. Oh well.
